Albert Woods
London born Albert Woods likes to describe his short stories as a mixture of teasers, whodunits, stings-in-the-tail and occasional black humour. With a varied professional background – Lloyd’s Underwriter and subsequent staff management directorships – he feels he brings a measure of observed human behaviour to his fictional outings. Currently, two of his novels are selling on Amazon Kindle – ‘Eighteen to Twelve’ and ‘The Price of Fish’ – the former a serious crime piece, the latter an outrageous comedy. Aside from writing, Albert’s other passion is music. He is an instrumentalist and has written a modern musical entitled ‘Rockferatu’. Efforts to stage it are ongoing and promising.

The Reverend told us that the Bible says we should love our enemy, be forgiving and show compassion towards him; be merciful, ease his suffering. This, I noticed, brought a few frowns and throat-clearings.
